Has anyone any contribution regarding the HC hearing?

So the hearing has been adjourned to another day to be fixed by the court.
The objectors' counsel has yet to finish his submission and the majority's counsel his yet to speak.
The experts say the completion date will be later than this year, if not the second half of next year.
In the meantime, those who have taken a bridging loan to buy a new house will be suffering.
Others who are not in financial trouble will be enjoying the longer free stay at Minton Rise.
Still others will be happy collecting more rent from the new house they have bought.
What a contrast!

It seems we are no nearer the closing date. The objectors may be holding out to get more or they love this place too much. I heard at the beginning that they wanted up to S$900k. Now that prices are easing, maybe it's time they think it over.
We hear today of an Upper Serangoon couple who took a reverse mortgage when their house was worth $2.1 million in 1997.
Nine years down the road and it was worth only $1.05 million. Maybe we can't fault them. Their son might not want to sell.
We may get $612k now for our houses, but if the en bloc deal fails to go through, what will we get? I dread to think of that day.

urgent! important! act!

A new problem has cropped up. The present management committee is suing a few guys for $100k for owed management and other fees.
That would mean a delay in the completion date. For each day delayed, the buyer wants each household to us $160+.

We must impress upon Mr Ken Pereira, Mr Bernard Tee and other members of the minton rise mc that they would be causing us unnecessary delays and money.

Just imagine. $163 a day. $1,630 for 10 days and $163,000 for 100 days.

So whether you are pro and against the en bloc, if you dont want to lose your trousers/pants, go knock on the doors of the mc members and tell them to wake up and stop the case.
